Today we present to you the Theban Tomb No.6, at Deir el-Medina. It dates from the time of Ramesses II, and it is a family burial of Neferhotep (I) and his son Nebnefer, who succeeded him in the position of foreman on the right side of the royal tomb.
We also present the tomb TT216, and a slideshow of this tomb. This adjoins the previous tomb and this is owned by Neferhotep (II), son and grandson of the occupants of tomb TT6, and who succeeded them in the position of foreman on the right. It is the largest and best located tombs at Deir el-Medina, which reflects the influence of its owner. Unfortunately, the chapel is very deteriorated http://www.osirisnet.net/tombes/artisans/neferhotep216/e_neferhotep216.htm
We hope you like them.
