Egypt's archaeological sites to be made more accessible to people with disabilities

Luxor and Karnak Temples are among the first ancient sites to see improvements, with wooden ramps and paths for wheelchairs, along with information boards accessible to those with impaired sight and hearing.

Whoop Whoop It would seem that they listened, I am so excited.

  1. I am absolutely delighted - as a 20 year Egyptologist from LONDON struct down with disablement after cancer at 78years old, I could not be more happy. I can now go with my trusty strong helper and with my many friends I can visit these two magnificent temples in comfort and spend many many happy hours studying the hieroglyths. Any ideas when the plans will start Jane?

    Thank everyone so much. Anne

  2. As soon as I hear that the work is completed I will do another site visit on my mobility scooter and report back. I think it is going to be fairly soon
