The staff of the database department at the Egyptian Museum, Cairo have given me their report on the inventory of objects at the museum following the break in. Sadly, they have discovered objects are missing from the museum. The objects missing are as follows:

I assume that Zahi Hawass will have lost his job as a result of the current situation. He was only allowed to carry on as head of the SCA because of his government permission, so with the military takeover yesterday he is no longer part of the government and therefore must have retired at age 62.

Of course I could be wrong, but I've seen no discussion of this elsewhere.

I could be wrong but I understand the 4th commuuique from the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces said that present Ministers will serve until elections can be held.
