I am off to Medamud tomorrow, I have my written permission, the inspector is expecting us and I am going with a fellow student on my Manchester course. Should be an excellent day.

Jane, I looked up Medamud and see that it's not far away at all. I'm wondering why you need permission to go there? In any case, have fun!
It is a closed site. I know people do visit illegally but I like to remember I am a guest in Egypt. It costs nothing to show respect and get permission. I think we will also have a better time with an inspector to show us round :)
